Welcome to Shepherd Seeds

Starting out at an old kitchen table with just a telephone and a small van Shepherd Seeds has come a long way over the years and prides its self on offering a truly personal service. We have quickly become a key supplier to those seeking quality British native wildflower seeds, meadow grasses and lawn seed. Dealing with a wide range of customers from farms, councils, The National Trust and a range of other organisations all looking to preserve areas of natural beauty as well as support key pollinators. More recently we are proud to have secured our exciting new conservation and development farm here in  Lincolnshire. Not only do we grow a wide range of our own British native wildflowers and meadow grasses here we also use the farm to demonstrate more sustainable farming practices such as cover cropping and zero nitrogen farming. Working alongside local schools and groups we will also be offering free access to some of our larger wildflower meadow areas during the summer months. We hope this will help further raise awareness of the importance of both open spaces and the key roles pollinators play in our ecosystems. In the near future we hope to construct an Eco Class Room allowing us to host talks and educational events further raising awareness of conservation and sustainable farming.  Keep a close eye on our Knowledge Hub as we will be doing a full introduction and tour of our wildflower and conservation farm in the coming weeks.

We hope you will find our website both informative and enjoyable to use. If however you can not find exactly what you are looking for or you wish to speak to one of our advisors please do not hesitate to telephone us.
