Description
CIPM3 “BUG-ER-OFF companion crop has been designed to grow alongside establishing oil seed rape crops, protecting them from the elements and helping reduce damage caused by wind borne insects. CIPM3 is a popular option for growers at low altitudes where strong prevailing winds can carry insect burden such as the Flea Beetle. We recommend sowing the companion crop a week to ten days before sowing the main oil seed rape crop. This give the CIPM3 mixture a head start which it should maintain until the oil seed rape over takes it in the coming spring. by using a mixture ofĀ Buckwheat and FenugreekĀ insects that would usually be attracted to the freshly emerging oil seed rape leaves attack instead the companion crop. This allows the oil seed rape to avoid the worst of the attack.
Contains: 70% Buckwheat 30% Fenugreek
