Description
Yarrow is a common grassland herb that grows in a wide range of soil types. With a large tap root yarrow is a popular herb species commonly used to improve the palatability and grazability of grassland for sheep and cattle. Yarrow, although small, has an aggressive growth habit and will soon become noticeable in a grass ley. With its early vigour and deep tap root Yarrow is a herb that will survive well in dry conditions and if used in a garden setting can grow well in shaded areas.
