Description
Timothy is arguably the most important of all the longer term grass species commonly sown in grassland throughout the UK. Well suited to most soil types Timothy grass seed does particularly well on fuller bodied soils. Found widely in grassland across the UK timothy grass persists well in dry years and remains disease free in wetter seasons. Timothy grass seed can be stitched in to most existing grass leys at a rate of 2.5kg per acre. This can be done using a spring tine harrow and broadcaster unit in the spring or autumn.
