Description
Tillage Radish seed establishes quickly and produces a large powerful tap root. Producing a high level of foliage, or top growth, Tillage Radish can be used for short term grazing for sheep and cattle. Mainly grown in the UK for its benefit to soil structure. A deep tap root capable of breaking through tough plough pans helps this radish breath life into hard compacted soils. Sown as a cover crop straight or utilised in a widerange of larger cover crop mixtures. Tillage Radish helps improve soil structure and drainage, whilst also holding on to key nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphate that may otherwise of been leached over the winter months.
