Tulip Red Riding Hood bulbs are a deep red flower head with an almost black base with dark marbled grey/green leaves. The petals are lily like and posited at the top. These tulips, unlike other varieties can be left in the ground for several years and don’t need lifting to be stored. The stocky dwarf tulip likes a full sun position in well drained soil. Perfect for any rockery or patio container. Plant the Tulip Red Riding Hood bulbs from September onwards for a show of colour after the bleak winter in March. Once the flower has died off, deadhead.
