Description
Rubra Fritillaria Bulbs are a tall, head turning herbaceous perennial with bright orange/red bell shaped flower heads. With bright green and red glossy pointed leaves they really stand out. They will look stunning at the back of the border being up to 100cm tall. Planted against other warm colours such as yellows and reds would create a beautiful look. Rubra Fritillaria Bulbs prefer well drained soil in a full sun position. After flowering, remove the leaves. When planting the bulbs, plant on their side, as this prevents them getting water logged through winter.
When handling bulbs, wearing gloves is advisable as they can be a skin irritant and harmful if eaten.
