Tulip Stresa bulbs are an eye catching red and yellow striped flower petal with mottled foliage. Perfect to brighten up any rockery, garden border or patio container. They are one of the smaller tulip varieties, nevertheless still packs a punch. It has won an award from the RHS and proves ever so popular amongst gardeners and florists. A fairly hardy tulip which prefers a full sun spot, a sheltered position and well drained soil. Flowering in March it is one of the early flowering species. Even though the Tulip Stresa bulbs are a smaller variety they still make lovely cut flowers.
When handling bulbs, wearing gloves is advisable as they can be a skin irritant and harmful if eaten.
