Tulip Passionale bulbs are dark purple pink large headed tulips. They bring a touch of elegance to the garden. It has slightly ruffled edges which softens the strong colour. Thriving in a full sun position in well drained soil. This tulip is perfect for any border or pot display. It works well planted against any colour, but particularly other pinks. Plant the bulbs from September for a show stopping exhibition late April, early May. Once the flowers and foliage have died off, lift the bulbs. They will require a dark dry place like a greenhouse until the next season comes around. Tulip Passionale bulbs make wonderful cut flowers, perfect for the home or bouquets.
When handling bulbs, wearing gloves is advisable as they can be a skin irritant and harmful if eaten.
